Our Mission
We all find our own ways to process the waves of life—especially the ones we didn’t see coming.
This space was created as a place to turn to in those moments.
A collection of small, meaningful things that can help you process, feel understood, or simply get through the day.
When I lost my mom, everything shifted.
Grief felt isolating—like something you weren’t really supposed to talk about. There were moments I couldn’t explain, feelings I didn’t expect, and a heaviness that didn’t always have somewhere to go.
... So I started searching...
For anything that could help me feel a little more grounded, a little more understood—a song that captured how I was feeling, a show that distracted me, words that made me feel seen, small comforts that made the days feel a little more manageable. Small things that, little by little, made space for me to breathe again.
And I remember wishing there was one place I could go—something simple, gentle, and real—that brought those things together.
Lately, I’ve found myself connecting with more people who have also gone through significant loss. In those conversations, I kept noticing the same feelings—the heaviness, the questions, the quiet moments that are hard to explain. And it deepened that pull in me to do something with my own experience.
That question kept coming back—why did I have to go through this?
And slowly, gently, the answer started to take shape.
Maybe it’s this.
A soft place to land.
A space to share what helped me—so that if you’re in it too, you have something to turn to, and somewhere to feel a little less alone.
Because there’s no one way to process.
And there’s no one way to grieve.
But there is comfort out there—sometimes in the smallest, most unexpected places.
I hope, in some small way, this space brings you a little serenity. 🤍
